Morelli Group Acquire Smart Express
Morelli Group announced the acquisition of the business of Smart Express from the beginning of May 2011. Steve Barrett has agreed to strengthen his well-established and exciting brand by joining forces with Morelli Group to bring his products and ideas to new markets and client groups.
Smart Express has a full compliment of own-branded express and smart repair products, ranging from paintless dent removal to trim repair. At the centre of this platform is the WAASP computerised estimating PDA and smart repair process management software, which will now form part of the Morelli offering, along with the Wizard on Wheels franchise for fully fitted mobile repair vans.
Steve Barrett of Smart Express says "Having the backing of such a professional and progressive distributor as Morelli Group means that I can now focus on developing new products and packages specific to the express repair market, bringing them to mainstream repairers to help them maximise their offering to work providers and retail customers alike.
